Teknik Masura started up manufacturing paper cones in April 1970, with machines taken over from a small manufacturer that was operating since 1968 in İstanbul whose staff was mainly the family members. The factory was moved to Tarsus in 1976, as Çukurova region was the main region of textile industry in Turkey. In 2002, the factory was moved to Mersin-Tarsus Industrial Zone for new investments. The first paper mill started to produce paper board in early 2008, paper tubes and angles in 2009. Teknik Masura also took over a paper mill in Edirne in 2017 and started production in late 2018. Teknik Masura is the largest manufacturer of paper cones in Turkey and our capacity is 1.300.000 pcs per a day. We make over 400 million units per year in our plants located in Tarsus / Turkey, attending to the needs of more than 300 of yarn spinners in Turkey, Africa, Asia and Europe. Our recycled paper manufacturing, paper cones, tubes, edge protectors plants blend together to make us one of the best and largest manufacturer of paper cones in the world. Teknik Masura originally manufactured paper cones used by the textile industry to wind cotton yarn. As the company expanded and diversified, Teknik Masura began to produce 120.000 tons paper between 100-420 gr/m² paperboard, coreboard, fluting, imitation kraft paper in our two mills annually, while originally established for only making paper cone in 1968. We can produce the needs of different kind of paper cones, texture tubes, rolls cores, edge protectors, POY and DTY in different sizes, lengths, dimensions, thicknesses, weights by our machineries, raw materials and our 52 years old knowledge. All our productions are made from recyled paper which we produce in our recyled paper mills. Recovery & Recycling; in addition to its two paper mills located in Tarsus and Edirne, Teknik Masura is a fully integrated recycling and packaging production company also with its wood recovery facility and recyclable packaging waste collecting and sorting facility in Tarsus.
