Dear Exhibitors and Visitors,
In light of the recent coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan city and Hubei Province in mainland China, we are monitoring developments closely in regards to International Istanbul Yarn Fair, which will be organized between the dates 27-29 February 2020.
We would like to share with you the outcome of our meetings with Turkish Ministry of Health and Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as the Chinese authorities.
In line with the decision taken by Turkish authorities, direct flights from China to Turkey has been suspended until the end of February.
Due to travel restrictions Chinese exhibitors as well as Chinese visitors from mainland China who have pre-registered to our show, have stated that they will not be able to attend our show this year.

For the 17th time, the International Istanbul Yarn Fair is preparing to gather its participants and visitors under the same roof. The yarn sector became one of the leading sectors in Turkey's exports in 2018. The sector, which is very important for the development of Turkey, provides an efficient international market for yarn suppliers. The International Istanbul Yarn Fair brings together yarn manufacturers who want to expand their customer portfolios with professional visitors. For the 17th time, the International Istanbul Yarn Fair, which will be held February 27-29, 2020, provides an opportunity for the development of the country’s economy.

Eurasia's biggest fair in the sector, the 16th International Istanbul Yarn Fair, organized by Tüyap Fairs, once again achieved great success. The fair, which was held with the participation of 302 companies and company representatives from 22 countries, hosted 9,854 visitors in total, 1,752 of them coming from abroad and 8,102 from within Turkey.

The textile industry meets at TÜYAP. Held for the 15th time this year, the Yarn Fair will take place concurrently with the International Textile Machinery Exhibition between April 14-17, 2018.

Originally starting to develop based on the cultivation of cotton in Turkey, over the years the Turkish textile sector has become an export industry. The export of Turkish yarn and fiber products has increased in recent years with investments made in the industry. Turkey is among the most important producers of cotton in the world and is also a country of authority when it comes to yarn manufacturing and processing.

Yarn Fair Proved Itself to be the 2nd Biggest of the World with the Record Number of Visitors

14th International Istanbul Yarn Fair that took place thanks to Tüyap’s hospitality, along with Knitting Tech 2017 and 26th International Knitting, Sock, Embroidery Machines and Sub-industry Fairs held simultaneously ended with a great success.

TEXTILE AND RAW MATERIALS INDUSTRY EXPORT PERFORMANCE
Turkey's textile and raw materials exports were 691,250,066 USD in the month of April. 
 

Turkish Yarn Industry & Yarn Export

Yarn is one of the most essential intermediate products both in the fabric and clothing industries. Our yarn export volume increased by 10%, reaching approximately 1.8 billion dollars in 2017. It is noted that we reached a value of nearly 500 million dollars in yarn exports during the period of January-March 2018. 
 

International Yarn Fair Breaks Record

The 15th International Istanbul Yarn Fair hosted by Tüyap achieved great success by breaking its own record of the previous year. Organized with the participation of 318 companies and company representatives from 23 countries, the Fair welcomed 2,729 foreign and 9,769 domestic visitors, which is 12,498 visitors in total.
