The fairs, which were joined by 215 companies and company representatives from 18 countries, hosted a total of 8755 visitors with 1955 of foreigners and 6800 from home. Yarn & Knitting Tech Fairs bringing innovation, technology and functionality together, took its success to the highest level thanks to the high visitor rate throughout 4 four days as a trade platform, in which bilateral business relations were developed. In the fairs that attracted a lot of attention abroad and took place as a result of the big participation of leading home and foreign company and company representatives, the participants that came from Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, Indonesia, South Korea, India, Hong Kong, England, Iran, Israel, Italy, Cambodia, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Poland, Tajikistan and Turkey had the opportunity for 4 days to represent this products to the visitors.
 
Purchasing Committees from 19 Countries
Purchasing committees that came from Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Armenia, Morocco, Georgia, India, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo, Lebanon, Macedonia, Egypt, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Russia, Serbia, Syria, Tunisia and Ukraine within the scope of purchasing committee program that has been held throughout the year so as to gain new markets and customers to the participant companies, visited the fair as Tüyap’s guests. Heavy demand shown by overseas made yarn sector and fabric producers happy. Sector professionals, who came from home and abroad as part of the fair, achieved significant collaborations for the development of the sector.
 
Events Specific to the Fair
Events organized during the Knitting Tech & Yarn Fairs met by the great attention of the sector representatives. “Authentic Weaving Loom” held by Denizli Chamber of Trade provided different experience for the participants and visitors. The exhibit in which a lot of mosaics that became the symbol of Zeugma were used as motives and held by İstanbul Aydın University presented colorful works. Bilateral meetings held by Indian National Participation Companies brought participants and visitors under the same roof. International Istanbul Yarn Fair will continue to be the address of novelties that will determine the future of the sector via new technologies, quality products, leading companies and scopes shaped in accordance with the need of the sector each year in the year 2018 as well.
