SOCK YARNS










 

Sock yarns are made from durable fiber blends that offer high-quality elastic properties. They can be made of silk and cotton, and silk becomes easier to use when blended with other yarns. Cotton sock yarns are great for providing warmth and elasticity, and they are trendy in summer because they can effectively remove moisture. Long-fiber cotton usually produces better-quality socks than short-fiber cotton. This type of cotton is mainly grown in the Nile Delta in Egypt. The best cotton manufactured in Türkiye is from Bergama, a location in the Aegean Region.

Tights typically consist of a sturdy elastic band in the waist area and a thicker material to cover the hips. The crotch area may be reinforced with a more durable material made of porous cotton. Conversely, regular socks come in various colors and are made of different types of yarn, typically extending up to the wrist.
